We are excited about our picnic shelter--the most recent addition to the Sherman County Historical Society Museum site. It came about because of several generous donors and a grant from the Sherman County Foundation. It is located just west of the Hawk School. The metal picnic shelter on a concrete pad with a sidewalk leading to it from the Jenner House driveway is a wonderful addition to the museum grounds.
The shelter has been on our “wish list” for quite some time, and because of the grant, donors, and volunteers, we can now check this one item off the list. As you tour the grounds of the museum, consider bringing a lunch to enjoy the museum grounds under the community picnic shelter. We welcome you!
